Terms of Use
Please read these terms before using the Free HTML to APK Android app or the web builder at freehtmltoapk.com. By using either you agree to them.

The service
Free HTML to APK ("the service") is a free tool that converts websites and HTML, CSS and JavaScript projects into Android apps (APK and AAB). It comes in two forms: the Android app, where all building and signing happens on your phone, and the web builder at freehtmltoapk.com, where your files, settings and signing key are sent to our server for the build. There is no account and no watermark in either. The web builder is free. In the Android app every feature is free, and each build uses one diamond (see Pricing) unless you have a paid plan.
Diamonds
Diamonds are a counter inside the Android app that lets you build on the Free plan. You earn a diamond by watching a rewarded ad, may receive a free diamond when no ad is available, and get the diamond back when a build fails. Diamonds have no monetary value, cannot be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for money, and are not your property. We may change how diamonds are earned or used, the daily limits, or reset balances, for example to fix errors or stop abuse.
Paid plans
The Android app offers two optional plans: Remove Ads, a one-time purchase (US$2 or the local price Google Play shows) that removes ads and the need for diamonds, and Support Development, a yearly subscription (US$10 or the local price) that includes Remove Ads plus feature requests, custom bug fixing and priority support. Feature requests and bug fixes are considered and worked on in good faith; we can't promise that every request will be built or every issue fixed by a particular date.
All purchases are made and billed through Google Play under Google Play's terms. Google Play handles payment, renewals, refunds and cancellation: the subscription renews each year until you cancel it in Google Play, and when it ends the app returns to the Free plan. Apps you have already built are not affected by your plan. Prices may change; a change to the subscription price applies from a later renewal, as Google Play notifies you.
Fair use and abuse
Don't fake or automate ad rewards, tamper with the app or its requests to our server, use modified or unofficial copies of the app, or otherwise try to get diamonds or plans you are not entitled to. We may remove diamonds or suspend a device from building if we see abuse. A purchase can be restored on a limited number of devices.
The web builder
When you build in the browser, the files, settings, keystore and its passwords you provide are uploaded to our server and used only to assemble and sign that build. They are processed in memory for the duration of the request and are not retained after the response is sent; we keep no copies of your files, keys or passwords. Keys created with "Make a new key" are generated on the server, returned to you once and not stored. The web builder has size limits (currently 60 MB of files, or 30 MB with ad mediation) that the Android app does not have.
Your apps belong to you
You own the apps you create, including their content, icons, names and signing keys. We claim no rights over them, and generated apps contain no branding or advertising from us. This is the same on every plan.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the content you package and for having the rights to it, including websites you convert, images, fonts, trademarks and third-party code. You must comply with applicable laws and with the policies of any store where you publish (such as Google Play's Developer Program Policies), including privacy, permissions and advertising rules.
Acceptable use
Don't use the app to create malware, spyware, phishing apps, apps that impersonate others, apps that infringe intellectual property, or apps that facilitate illegal activity. Don't convert websites you don't own or aren't authorised to package.
Signing keys
In the Android app, signing keys are created and stored on your phone. In the web builder, a key is created on the server and handed to you as a download, or you upload your own for each build; in both cases it is kept only in your browser (and only on this computer if you tick "Remember"). You are solely responsible for backing up your keys and keeping their passwords safe. We cannot recover a lost key or password.
Third-party services
The rewarded ads in the app are provided by Google (AdMob), and purchases by Google Play Billing, under Google's own terms. Optional features in your apps, such as Google AdMob, ad mediation partners and Google Play services, are also provided by third parties under their own terms. The app's partner promotion links to an independent company that is not part of Free HTML to APK.
Open-source components
The app includes open-source software (such as apksig, Bouncy Castle and AndroidX) distributed under their own licenses, listed in the app under Settings → About.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't guarantee that generated apps will be accepted by any app store or work on every device.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developers of the app are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits, lost data or lost signing keys arising from your use of the app or of apps you build with it.
Changes
We may update these terms when the service changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. If you disagree with them, stop using the web builder and uninstall the app.
