PWA to APK
Convert your progressive web app into a signed Android APK and AAB for Google Play. Keep your service worker and add native menus, splash screen and AdMob.
How it works
- Enter your PWA's address, or upload its built files.
- Match the app colours to your manifest.
- Add any native extras you want.
- Build the APK and AAB.
PWA to APK: what you get
A PWA already behaves like an app; packaging it as an APK puts it on Google Play and on phones that never visit your site. Enter your PWA's URL, or upload its files to bundle everything offline.
Your service worker and local storage keep working, and you gain native extras such as a launch screen, back-button handling, notifications and ads.
- Signed APK and Google Play AAB
- Your own signing key
- Icon, splash screen, toolbar, tabs and drawer
- Native JavaScript bridge (FreeApp)
- AdMob ads with optional mediation
- No sign-up, no watermark, no limits
Questions about pWA to APK
Do service workers work?
Yes, for websites loaded by URL, as in Chrome.
Is this the same as a Trusted Web Activity?
No. The app uses a WebView with a native bridge, so it doesn't need Digital Asset Links and can use FreeApp features.
Can I publish it on Google Play?
Yes. Build the AAB and follow our publish guide.
